Diagnostic services support consultation, emergency care, surgery and critical care. Availability of a specific test is confirmed by the hospital when you book.

Laboratory investigations

What it is: Blood, urine and other sample-based tests used to diagnose and monitor illness.
Why it may be recommended: Doctors may recommend these to check infection, organ function, blood counts, sugar levels and more.
Preparation: Some tests need fasting. Confirm fasting requirements when booking.
What to bring: Doctor's prescription, previous reports, identity proof.

Radiology & imaging

What it is: X-ray, ultrasound and other imaging depending on availability, with CT/MRI coordinated as required.
Why it may be recommended: Used to look at bones, organs and soft tissues when a clinical examination is not enough.
Preparation: Preparation varies by scan. Inform the team if you are or may be pregnant.
What to bring: Prescription, previous scans and films, identity proof.

Cardiac diagnostics

What it is: ECG and echocardiography to assess heart rhythm and function.
Why it may be recommended: Recommended for chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness and pre-surgery assessment.
Preparation: No special preparation for a routine ECG unless advised.
What to bring: Previous ECG and echo reports, medicine list.

How reports are shared

Report timing depends on the test — the desk will tell you when to expect it
Reports can be collected at the hospital
Digital copies can be shared on WhatsApp or email where available
Results should be interpreted by your treating doctor, not on your own
